Fall Update!

Here is a picture of Anna and her daycare teacher, Ms. Lynette. This Halloween, Anna dressed up as a girl alligator. We took her to Babies R' Us and that was the one she picked out. Anna's First Craft

Anna has been coloring now for a while, but during Kid's Club tonight, she made her first ever craft. She kept trying to pull the glued fish crackers off again to eat them. I am not going to lie to you, she was successful a couple of times. Her is a picture of her creation. Anna also did a really good job at following along with the hand motions during song time and aerobics... well really well for an 18 month old baby:)

Block Party

We had an outreach block party for our church, I thought you might enjoy watching David in the dunk tank.

New Dress Shoes

During the tax-free weekend we bought Anna a pair of purple shoes that she loves! Every time she puts them on she stares and points at them! It is very cute to watch her walk with an extra spring in her step. I expected her to do this later in life, it just caught us off guard that she would be doing that now. I think it is the little sparkles on the end of the shoes that she likes so much.

First Big Ouchie!

Anna tripped on her blanket at daycare while playing on the porch. Here is a picture of Anna's first really big ouchie.

First Day of Daycare

Anna started daycare the day after week got back. Anna had a very hard time for a week or so but is doing very well now. She loves the circle time and is now allowed to take her "B" everywhere with her. (Her "B" is her blanket.) Being allowed to take "B" with her made all the difference, thank you mom for making an exact replica of the one she has at home. It definitely has been a life saver!

Cousin Fun

In August, we went to visit my family in FL. Anna loved seeing everyone particularily her cousins! Here is a video of some cousin lovin'.

Play Date with Kiersten, Kaitlyn, and Christy

Today we went to the mall with Kiersten, Kaitlyn, and Christy. We played on the playground and had lunch. We had a great time! Anna was not ready to go even though it was way past her naptime!

Yesterday, we got to go swimming and have lunch with Cory and Penny! We had a great time! Anna really loves the pool!

New Haircut

Going back to work inspired me to chop off my hair. Here is a picture :) It isn't exactly what I was wanting, but it was close enough. Prep-time will definitely be less in the morning.

Anna's Chair

One of Anna's favorite things right now is her new little chair. She pulls it along everywhere... as well as her "B" (blanket). The other day she pulled her chair into her little tent. We got it on video. This is how she typically plays through out the day.

Pizza Snatcher

David and I were going over our finances together and eating some pizza on Sunday. We left the room to go get a drink. When we got back in the room we found Anna on the chair eating pizza too!

Swimming

Anna Loves Spaghetti

Anna's Wake Up Game

Every morning and most of the time when I get her up after her nap, Anna plays a game with me. I walk in and ask her if she is ready to get up and at that point she drops down and pretends to be sleeping, sometimes she pulls the covers over her. It is pretty funny. Here is a video:)

Anna's First Real Picture

4th of July

For the 4th of July, we went to dinner and walked around town a little bit. Later we went to see a fireworks display. It was a lot of fun. Anna was pretty amazed by the fireworks. Here is a video of Anna enjoying the fireworks.

Trip to Austin

This weekend we went down to Austin, TX to visit with David's family. Dave got to go fishing early Sat. morning with his Dad and brothers. They caught, I think, 5 fish. Anna and I got to go shopping and play on a playground with Dave's Mom. We ate dinner at the Oasis, a super cool place on Lake Travis, with Dave's Aunt Carole and Grandma Hanson. Afterwards we went back to Dave's parents house and had dessert with his Uncle Ken and Aunt Linda. We had a great time! If you would like to see some pictures of the trip click on the link below.

Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day this Sunday. We took Dave to Starbucks for some coffee in the morning, went to church, ate some BBQ at home, and took a nap. The best part of the day was when we took a walk after our nap. Dave and I sat and talked while Anna played. It was so relaxing and nice to spend some quality time together. Rain, Rain Go Away!

I wanted to take Anna swimming yesterday afternoon. She was lathered with sunscreen, had her swimmie diaper on, and was ready to go! As soon as I put her in the carseat it thundered outside and started to rain. I decided to let her play in the tub instead. Here are a few pictures.

Anna and David Enjoying the Key's Pool

Last Week on Thursday, we had a pool party for the youth group at the Key's house. It was a lot of fun! The water was very cold, but Anna loved it. When we took her out of the water, she didn't want to get out... even though she had blue lips from being so cold! Here is the video:)
